Eliminate dead batteries and phone failures

Why you need an external battery for your phone.

Anyone who has bought a smartphone has quickly discovered that an hour of Angry Birds, or a streaming movie, or navigation use, can pretty much deplete the battery life on a phone. External batteries for smartphones can supplement power to the device when a USB or a charger is not handy. This is especially useful for people who may be out in the field on construction jobs, out camping, or somewhere that a power connection is not readily available. In fact, hikers may want to consider a fully charged "emergency" battery that is kept in a backpack in case they are out of reach of rescuers for longer than an average cellphone's battery life. Smartphones are very powerful and useful devices, but once you start running 4G, WiFi and GPS applications, the battery life can drain almost visibly. Until battery manufacturers and phone designers can integrate power management and battery life innovation, this will continue to be a problem, and you can bet that your battery will fail when you most need it, so having an external battery handy may be the difference between success and failure on business trips or in any situation where timely communication can make the biggest difference in the world.

Notes and Special Information

Special note: Try to avoid buying counterfeit battery packs that may explode or damage your actual phone.
